The Mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
After Chris was chosen as one of the three Team In Training Athletes at the Ironman World Championship in Kona in October 2016, the Trent Family boosted their lifetime of fundraising for LLS to more than $284,000. And we're not done yet! In 2019, Team Trent will be raising another $10,000 as Chris trains for those who have lost their battle to cancer and those, like his daughter Monica, who have won the fight. Join us by donating money, time, skills, spreading the word, etc...Thank you for joining our fight!
for a cure
Why is Chris training to run 26.2 miles again? He's doing it because it's Boston. The marathon that all other marathons are measured by. This isn’t only the world’s oldest, but regarded as one of the world’s most challenging races.
February 25, 2002 is a day that shattered our stable existence. It is the day our youngest daughter, Monica, was diagnosed with Leukemia. Monica had recently turned 8 years old. A normal, intelligent, and happy kid. .
